Cape Ann developers went to Prague to attend the Experts-Live Europe in 2018, with the focus of introducing and familiarizing themselves with emerging cloud-based technologies and opportunities they present in this new era of cloud-based computing.
Software engineers Damir Duvnjakovic and Selmir Mujezinovic were the ones attending the conference and they were very excited to be there.
The breakout sessions included demonstrations of various (then latest and some even experimental) cloud-based solutions coming from the Azure platform in 2018 such as Azure Functions (a serverless platform) with a lot of accompanying services (like Event Hub etc..) making them ideal for IoT applications, CosmosDB a globally consistent/replicated highly available database as a service and others.
