Software Engineer
As a Mid-Level Software Engineer, you'll design, develop, and maintain modern software solutions for client projects. You'll own features, collaborate with experienced engineers, and continuously grow your technical expertise across the application stack.

Responsibilities and Duties
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications and services.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows engineering standards and best practices.
Collaborate with senior engineers to design technical solutions, algorithms, and application architecture.
Build and integrate software components, APIs, and third-party services.
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications and systems.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and engineering practices.
Design, implement, and maintain automated tests to ensure software reliability.
Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and systems.
Collaborate closely with Product, QA, Design, Project Management, Data, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Follow Agile development practices and actively contribute to planning, estimation, and technical discussions.
Support and mentor junior engineers through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and day-to-day collaboration.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and engineering practices.
A Candidate Will Demonstrate
Proven experience:
Typically 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, with hands-on experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications.
Technical expertise:
We work across a variety of technologies and projects, so we do not expect candidates to have experience with every technology listed below. However, successful candidates should have hands-on experience with several of these areas and demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
Examples of technologies and domains we commonly work with include:
Backend development using PHP, Java, Python, or similar modern programming languages and frameworks.
Frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React, Angular, or similar technologies.
Relational databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and ORM frameworks.
Building and consuming REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
Containerized development using Docker and related technologies.
Automated testing, test-driven development, and modern software quality practices.
Version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
Linux-based environments, web servers, and infrastructure fundamentals.
Cloud platforms and infrastructure concepts.
Troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and application monitoring.
Project ownership:
Ability to independently deliver features and technical solutions while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and balancing technical excellence with business needs.
Collaboration and communication:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, product teams, project managers, and non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous growth:
A proactive mindset with a passion for learning new technologies, improving engineering practices, and expanding technical capabilities.
Education:
Although not essential, a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field would be advantageous.
