Ada Lovelace Day (ALD) is an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM). It aims to increase the profile of women in STEM and, in doing so, create new role models who will encourage more girls into STEM careers and support women already working in STEM.
Cape Ann Enterprises is celebrating this day the third year in a row, and for the first time, we are celebrating it online by providing learning resources on this website that will be available to all the visitors as of October 13, 2020.

Our presentations are created by our team of extraordinary and successful women that we are very proud of. Among technical knowledge presentations, you will find some that are dedicated to sharing experience and encouraging girls and women to find their way in the IT business, if that is their dream. In the last two years, we welcomed the visitors, mostly high school and college students, in our offices, and presented them with the first-hand experience of what it looks and feels like to work at an IT company. This year, we welcome you to check our presentations and the website that will give you an insight into the life of a developer in one of the IT companies. You can also read a great interview with our colleagues Jasmina and Azra about women in IT if you click HERE.
Ada Lovelace Day is an event that helps us motivate the female population to step in the world of computer science, and Cape Ann Enterprises is more than happy to help and encourage young women whose dream is to become a software developer. We understand that prejudices are affecting their decision to build their careers in other businesses, and we consider it our job to prove the opposite by acting.
